All Black

Last fall, I was on a hunt for the perfect maxi dress, and when I saw this in Forever 21, I knew I had to get it. This dress is just perfect - from the side slits to the moon print. For winter, I decided to pair it with a studded leather jacket, my favorite platform heels, and a beanie for a more casual look.

Finals week!!

Top - Forever 21
Hoodie - Vintage
Leather Jacket - Silence + Noise (Urban Outfitters)
Socks & shoes - Urban Outfitters

Studying for finals week has been the death of me, but I honestly enjoy learning about the human anatomy (I'm a nursing major). After next week though, I'll have a lot more time on my hands to blog and shoot outfits. As you know, in college, we get to have a month-long break in the winter. So excited!

Anyways, as I was walking to school in this outfit, I noticed that everybody was staring at me. An old lady even came up to me and asked me if I was cold. It's probably because I was wearing shorts and tights. I honestly don't get cold with these tights because they're thick, and winter never stopped me from doing the shorts and tights combo just because it's something I throw on frequently.

Denim and Leather pt. 2

White shirt - Gap
Leather Pants - Urban Outfitters
Denim Jacket - forever 21
Boots - Dr. Martens

I've never been the type to wear pants that aren't snug, just because I have pretty wide hips, and wearing pants that are loose on the hips would only make me look bigger. But these pants were amazing! Not only are they comfortable, but they're pretty warm too. Also, if you haven't noticed, I'm really into the leather and denim combo.

Death Metal

Top - Urban Outfitters
Skirt - Forever 21
Shoes - Urban Outfitters
Coat - H&M

I honestly love the color palette of this outfit. If you know me, you'd know I'm into dark colors.
Also, the weather today was just perfect! I though it would be a lot colder since it has been freezing these past couple of days. I'm glad I only needed one coat today to fight off the cold.

Times Square

I was so surprised to see that my best friend was able to take nice pictures of me in the middle of Times Square! It's always filled with so much people that if I look away for a second, I'd lose my best friend in the sea of tourists.

Anyways, nothing like a black faux fur coat to keep me warm on a freezing winter night!

NEUTRAL

Top - Urban Outfitters
Pants - H&M
Jacket - Forever 21
Plaid Shirt - Victoria's Secret Pink
Boots - Dr. Martens

I've always been into neutral colors. I feel like an outfit is so much more laid-back with neutral colors. Also, throwing on anything printed into a solid-color outfit REALLY changes the whole look.

Fall colors

Cardigan - Forever 21
Turtle-neck top - Forever 21
Pants - Urban Outfitters / Similar here

I was never really one to enjoy the cold weather, and today it was 37 degrees in New York. You're probably thinking, "Why is she wearing that?!" I have 3 more layers underneath the chunky cardigan, and they definitely kept me warm. I feel like the key to layering is to have a big outer jacket to fit many layers underneath it if you feel like the ones underneath doesn't match your outfit.
